Category of Visiting Membership

Type A

Children of current Members below 25 years of age who are full-time students of any recognized educational institution and NOT residing in Singapore.

Documents required: passport-size photo (1), passport, SG Arrival Pass and student pass

Junior Member (12 to 20 years old) Fee: S$20.00/- per month.

Junior Member (21 to 24 years old) Fee: S$210.00/-** per month or S$52.50/-** per week or part thereof per person.

Type B

Visiting relatives (no age restriction) or children of Members over 25 years of age and NOT residing in Singapore.

Documents required: passport-size photo (1), passport and SG Arrival Pass

Fee: S$248.20/-** per month or S$62.05/-** per week or part thereof per person.

Type C

Any person or family* of good standing, on social visit and temporarily residing in Singapore.

Documents required: passport-size photo (1), passport and SG Arrival Pass

Fee: S$615.80/-** per month or S$153.95/-** per week or part thereof.

*issuance of card for children must be between 12 and 21 years old.

Type D

Returning Absent Member

Documents required: Passport/Identity Card and Photograph

Family Membership: S$260.00/-** per month or S$65.00/-** per week or part thereof.

Single Membership: S$210.00/-** per month or S$52.50/-** per week or part thereof.

- ADDITIONAL NOTES:
  
  1. Visiting Membership application must be accompanied by the relevant supporting document. Please send scanned copies via email to membership@amclub.org.sg
  
  The application will only be processed upon receipt of supporting documents after which, the Visiting Membership card(s) will be ready in 2 working days after The Club re-opens. A Membership staff will reach out to you once the Visiting Membership card(s) is ready.
  
  2. As per By-Law 8.6 No Guest:
  “A Visiting Member is not entitled to introduce guest to The Club except his or her spouse and minor children.” (Except Type “D”)
  
  3. A Current Member who sponsors a Visiting Member must be at least 21 years old and be responsible for the conduct as well as any financial liabilities incurred by the Visiting Member.
  
  4. Visiting Membership may be extended to the same person not exceeding three (3) times and 90 days in aggregate within a calendar year.
  
  5. A Visiting Member may not reserve class space earlier than 48 hours ahead of the schedule.
  
  6. An email or letter of notification within 48 hours of application is required if a Member wishes to cancel his/her Visiting Membership. Otherwise, fees will be charged accordingly.

  • I hereby authorize The American Club (The "Club") and any authorized staff of The Club to collect, process, and use the personal information for the following purposes:
  - to process the Visiting Membership application
  - to conduct identity checks
  - to comply with the requirement of any regulatory authority
  • I agree that my personal data will be disclosed to relevant vendors and partners for my membership activities at The Club.
  
  • I agree to the transfer of my personal data to cloud and/or social media platforms.
  
  • I acknowledge that use of this personal information is to be controlled as required by business needs and will be used as authorized and intended (including identity checks, debt recovery).
  
  • The Club will maintain reasonable safeguards to help ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of my information in The Club's possession.
  
  • I understand that at any time, I have the right to access and/or correct and update the personal information that I have provided to The Club, through the prescribed channels provided by The Club by submitting the Access & Correction form.
  
  • I understand that The Club shall cease to retain personal data as soon as the business or legal purpose expires (i.e. Resignation from Club).
  
  • I understand that if I attend Club sponsored events, my photos and any CCTV image or video may be taken during such events. If I do not wish to have my photos shared on The Club’s social media pages, or any other publications, I will refrain from having my photo taken by informing the photographer accordingly.
  
  • If I wish to withdraw my consent to the above, I agree to notify The Club immediately in writing through The Club's prescribed channel for withdrawal by submitting the Withdrawal of Consent form.
